About

The Whitworth Forum is an ongoing project launched by Daniel Walters, Kyle Pflug, and a group of Whitworth community activists and concerned campus personalities.

It is not officially endorsed, reviewed, or run by Whitworth Administration, the ASWU, or the Whitworthian. Instead, it is merely a expression of the free market place of ideas– generally unregulated.

The goal of the Forum is simple and reachable: Communication. Open, clear, accessible lines of communication, striving to avoid bias or prejudice.

The Forum is not to be a place without conflict, and no open panel for discussion should be a place without compromise. Rather it seeks to engage students in the exchange of ideas — those the fundamental currency of any institution of learning. Armed with these ideas the Forum challenges students to be aware of each other, to bring awareness to administration and to their governing bodies, and ultimately to take their learning into their own hands.

This is a place about participation. Read the articles. Comment on the articles. Submit your own articles. Take Whitworth into your own hands.
